Do not breastfeed at these places

I am pro breastfeeding in public places. When a baby needs the mother’s milk, the baby must have it. It’s a natural thing. We shouldn’t be offended by a woman feeding her young. If you have a problem with it, you can choose to look away.
There are certain places and situations where breastfeeding might not be a good idea. Here are some examples:
- Do not breastfeed while driving, it’s dangerous.
- Do not breastfeed at an interview, although you are showing great commitment.
- Do not breastfeed while on the treadmill, unless the baby want a milkshake.
- Do not breastfeed while taking a dump.
- Do not breastfeed while visiting someone in prison.
- Do not breastfeed at a funeral service.
- Do not breastfeed at a parent teacher conference.
- Do not breastfeed while working at a strip club.
- Do not breastfeed in front your in-laws.
- Do not breastfeed at the bar.
- Do not breastfeed during Church.
- Do not breastfeed while vacationing in the Middle East.
Wise Man Tip: Do not breastfeed an adult in public, you may get arrested.

hmmmm interesting list.
As an extended breastfeeder….yet don’t breastfeed in public anymore….I found I disagree with a few of the places.
I have breastfed in front of the inlaws.
I would breastfeed in church or a funeral if I had to.
Other than that…the list is pretty good! tee hee
especially your “wiseman tip”

Oopsie I’ve done it in front of in-laws, and during church, while sitting in the front row. And my naughty 9 month old flipped up my nursing cover…I think the pastor got an eyeful! So I learned my lesson on that one!!

Yup, that was exactly what I was thinking about on that one. Good for the pastor

I’ve actually done #2. Though I was interviewing to be a breastfeeding counselor for WIC, so I don’t think it holds as much weight. LOL

I have breastfed at a funeral service, not really sure why that one is on the list. In front of the inlaws? All the time. I have leaned over into the car seat while sitting in the backseat to breastfeed..so someone was driving all though it was not me. If I did go to church I would breastfeed there..same with prison, not sure why that would be a problem. Working at a strip club? Well not while you are dancing I hope! But in the back room I don’t see a problem. My nanny brings my son to my work so I can nurse on my lunch break, don’t see a difference here
Parent teacher confrence = a okay. Interview yah I wouldnt there but I also wouldnt bring a child to an interview, it is not professional. If I was in an interview that was fine for having children there, I would breastfeed there too. While taking a dumb? *sigh* Sometimes the kid wants to eat and…well I would say I would try to avoid this one.
Middle east? “The Qur’an, recommends that mothers breastfeed their children for two years if possible and, in fact, states that every infant has the right to be breastfed. If a mother is unable to breastfeed, she and the father can decide together to have a wet nurse feed the child.”
Treadmill? Well I have breastfed while hiking, I am sure you could breastfeed while wlking on a treadmill, though I wouldn’t recommend running
So that leaves the bar. Yup, dont think I would do it at the bar
