We left the hospital Friday afternoon with our brand new baby. Drove very slowly and safely. Scott was sleeping the whole way home.

Everything was ready at home, the crib, diapers, diaper genie 2, and whatever else. So far the baby sleeps for 3 hours, wakes up for feedings, looks around a little and goes back to sleep. And of course, with pee and poop in between. So we figure night time won’t be too bad if we can sleep for 3 hours straight.

Boy, were we wrong. Scott woke up every hour with loud crying. Very loud crying. My wife took care of everything. I think I did 1 diaper change last night. It was tough,especially for my wife. She barely slept last night.

He’s totally fine in the daytime. He can sleep for a long time, but once nighttime comes around, he’s up.
