First there was too much lead in the toys. Now there are date rape drugs in the toys. Next its feces infused toys. Maybe it’s finally time to boycott the toys from China. Yes, they’re cheaper, but it’s not really worth it. I’ll pay more so my kids won’t have to deal with lead and GHB.

Is Mexico still producing toys? We should turn to them for now. Cost can’t be much more than the Chinese toys. We can go back to China when their standards are higher.

“Millions of Chinese-made toys have been pulled from shelves in North America and Australia after scientists found they contain a chemical that converts into a powerful “date rape” drug when ingested. Two children in the U.S. and three in Australia were hospitalized after swallowing the beads.

With only seven weeks until Christmas, the recall is yet another blow to the toy industry already bruised by a slew of recalls last summer…”
