Robot Baby Trainer

I was watching VH1’s Hulk Hogan’s show last night. In this episode, he was trying to teach his son about using condoms and so on. He wanted his son, Nick, to practice safe sex. In order to get into Nick’s head, he ordered a robotic baby.
The robot is suppose to be a new born baby girl. The baby eats, shits, burps, and most importantly cries. When the baby cries, you have to figure out why and stop it from crying. There are no instructions. The person taking care of it must treat it like a real baby. The robot baby’s diapers must be changed and must be feed milk. At the end of 24 hours, the robot baby connects to a computer and uploads the day’s data. Then it would calculate everything and gives out a score from A to F, just like in school.
Nick did not do so well, he got a C. He let the baby cry a lot and didn’t pat the baby’s back after feeding. At the end, he did learn a valuable lesson. He knows he’s not ready to be a dad yet.
The robot baby is good for encouraging safe sex. It can teach teenagers the consequences of not practicing safe sex. Another use could be for first time parents. The robot baby can help develop parenting skills before the real baby is born. You want to make sure you can get A’s before having your own kids.

This is a real thing? It’s got to be way expensive.
“Safe sex” started out not meaning contraception, but STD awareness and precautionary measures. ‘Course, you could do both. And you -should- plan your fertility, and it’s a pity that segments of hypocritical modern culture stigmatise people who do so, to the point where possession of condoms, for instance, is embarrassing: I think I’d make it compulsory to produce a pack of three along with your driving licence, when a cop says so. “I’ll need to see your rubbers, sir.”
But I also figure if you can afford RealCare Baby then you can have an actual kid and hire a full time carer and forget it. So why worry?
